Trying to gain access to DashboardHC but are unfamiliar with the tool? You may have recently been in conversation with a colleague who mentioned their DashboardHC account and you are now excited to get your account set up. Before you get started, there are a few things to keep in mind:



  1. DashboardHC is invite only.


Due to holding a company’s sensitive data, someone can only gain access to a DashboardHC account after being invited. Search your email inbox for an invite from help@dashboardhc.com and follow the step-by-step instructions in creating an account. 


If you cannot find an invite email, you will need to request access from your IT or Financial Department leader. From there, we will be in contact with the leader to help create an account for you through our help@dashboardhc.com email support. 


Below is an example of an email to send to your leader about setting up an account:


Hi,

I just heard about DashboardHC and I am trying to create an account, but it looks like I haven’t received an invite to gain access. Is it possible for me to get my own account set up? If you approve, I know you will need to relay these permission details over to help@dashboardhc.com



Remember, if your IT or Finance Department Leader informs you that you should already have access, it’s possible that the invite went to your email spam or junk folder. If this is the case, follow the step-by-step instructions in creating an account, and you can simply update your spam filter settings for DashboardHC to prevent any future email correspondence going to your junk folder. 



  1. Take notice of the data within your new account. 


If you were able to go through the process of setting up an account, take some time to review the data. If you created a new account on your own, without a formal invite, it is highly likely that your new account is only showing the demo data. 


DashboardHC has created demo accounts to be able to train individuals on the tool, without sharing sensitive information. If you think you may be viewing a demo account, please refer back to step 1, or email us at help@dashboardhc.com
